Overview

The DID system with bypass flow cell is intended for monitoring and control of disinfectants, pH, ORP, conductivity and temperature. The system is preassembled on a common backplate and includes a control unit CU382, the water parameter sensor(s) with cable(s) to the control unit and the hydraulic assembly.

CU 382 control unit:

  • Intuitive plain-text operation
  • Data logger functionality (settings, calibration data and measured values)
  • Up to 3 controller outputs, freely assignable
  • Modbus (slave)
  • Modbus sensor interface
  • Data interchange with USB stick
  • Wide-range power supply

Water parameter sensors:

  • Modbus interface to CU 382 control unit
  • Onboard storage of calibration data
  • Temperature measurement and compensation included for all sensors
  • Pre-calibrated (pH, ORP, conductivity sensor)
  • Diaphragm-covered amperometric sensor principle for disinfectant sensors
  • Low pH dependency for free-chlorine sensors

Flow cell and hydraulic assembly:

  • Max. pressure at inlet: 3 bar Inlet/outlet hose connections suitable for hose sizes: 1/4", 3/8" and 3/8" OD
  • Shut-off valve
  • Flow restrictor (limits to max. approx. 15.8 gph)
  • Flow switch (activated at approx. 8 gph)
  • Flow cell with sample water withdrawal assembly
  • Max. pressure on outlet: 7.25 psi
