A global training network
The Poul Due Jensen Academy is located in Bjerringbro, and with its 40 rooms, multiple classrooms, conference rooms and meeting facilities, it is an exceptional, physical proof of our high commitment to investing in training.
The Academy offers a broad range of commercial, technical, leadership and generic training. Each year, thousands of employees participate in e-learning and face-2-face training sessions – some are at the location in Bjerringbro, others are delivered in a local context in customized strategy aligned training programmes for employees and leaders in Grundfos.
Our training activities are based on a professional blended learning platform designed to create high business impact and to drive change. Our current ambition is to become even better at creating the right learning blends based on our experience of what works. The Academy is named after the inventor Poul Due Jensen, the founder of Grundfos.

Our commitment to making a difference is also reflected in our employee programme Water2Life. Through different activities, our employees collect funds to provide people in the developing world with access to clean water. Grundfos matches employee contributions so that a new water system is funded fifty-fifty by employees and the company. The Water2Life ambassadors work voluntarily for this good cause while collaborating with colleagues across the world.
Every fourth year, employees from all over the world gather in Denmark for the Grundfos Olympics. The games are deeply rooted in our fundamental values. We build new friendships and experience that we are all part of the same team – irrespective of nationality, religion, professional position or educational background.
