eLearning Content Developer

General Summary:

Grundfos is seeking a creative eLearning Developer to design and deliver critical knowledge building training programs that support the organization’s strategic plan. This high profile role will be responsible for accelerating marketing and sales in a fast paced, high-growth business delivering innovative solutions to the regions’ critical water and energy efficiency needs. This individual will take direction from the Director of Technical Education to assess training needs and performance gaps, and design, develop, test, and deploy eLearning courses, products, and modules using various eLearning development software tools.   He/she will design blended learning solutions including eLearning courses and products, virtual instructor led training, and in-person training that meet the needs and requirements of various stakeholders. Responsibilities include writing clear learning objectives; designing criterion tests, review tests, and any post-course follow-up or remediation as needed; creating design documents and storyboards to outline the course structure; selecting and utilizing the appropriate eLearning development tool to create each training course or product.

This position is also responsible for the ongoing maintenance of current course content, revisions, and implementations. Additionally, the eLearning Design / Developer is responsible for staying current with industry best practices and proactively seeking information on industry trends.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Produce engaging, interactive, on-line/eLearning modules using sound instructional design principles.
  • Design graphics, illustrations, animation, and navigation elements that ensure quality learning experiences and optimize the user experience
  • Design and develop effective and valid assessment questions and responses.
  • Work with subject matter experts when needed to refine raw content and define learning outcomes.
  • Develop and lead project plans to guide development from start to finish.
  • Publish eLearning content to a variety of different formats including LMS, Web, Podcasts and more.
  • Work closely to collaborate with the Marketing team and various e-Marketing initiatives as necessary
  • Provide insight, direction and support in working with various national wholesaler accounts possessing interactive web sites for ordering and training promotions.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including posting of content, testing & troubleshooting, and report generation/distribution.
  • Manage the audio/video recording of events and posting recordings to resource libraries.
  • Manage the coordination and interaction with various media outlets in order to promote our various eLearning tools.
  • Maintain data integrity rules and processes for the LMS such as course descriptions, course changes, assignment of course categories.
  • Additional tasks as required by the team.

Additional Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related development experience in software, high tech, or related industry.
  • Minimum Education Requirements
    BS/BA Degree or Equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and retain a valid US passport.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25% of the time, including nights and weekends.
