Booth #3429 to feature fully equipped Water Utility educational trailer
NEW ORLEANS —Highlighting the industry’s most comprehensive line of pumps, systems, controls and accessories, global pump manufacturer Grundfos will exhibit its full family of iconic product brands at the Water Environment Federation’s 2014 technical exhibition and conference (WEFTEC) from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 in New Orleans.
Visitors to booth #3429 will find optimized water solutions from a number of marquee product brands, some with roots going back a century or more. Together, Grundfos, Yeomans, Chicago, Sewer Chewer, Morris, Paco and Peerless Pump provide a complete portfolio of products for the North American Water Utility industry.
“We are proud to be exhibiting our entire collection of product brands,” said Thomas Morrison, vice president of business development and sales for Grundfos Water Utility. “Thanks to our multi-company expertise, Grundfos provides the answer to collecting, controlling, treating and distributing water, stormwater and wastewater.”
To learn about each of Grundfos’ brands and the products they offer, visitors can explore the Grundfos Water Utility trailer, a new fully equipped mobile educational center. The trailer includes training videos and presentations, a series of displays from a wide selection of Grundfos Water Utility solutions, and a working crane and work desk for servicing product.
The trailer will include the SE/SL submersible motors, the PLS packaged lift station and SEG grinder pump, Dedicated Controls Panel, Morris 6100 and 7100 solids-handling pump, S Pump, KPL Pump and SEWER CHEWER grinder pump.
Also on display at WEFTEC is the expanded line of Grundfos’ Paco KP large split case pumps with a performance range of up to 20,000 gallons per minutes. New models offer the same features as the existing range, including double volute design for eliminating radial loads, which extends the life of key components like the bearings and shaft seals. In addition, the removable bearing housings allow for quick and easy access to the internal of the pump.
“The high efficiency of the KP pump range provides increased energy savings over the life of the pump, and the high capacity and low NPSHr makes the line perfectly suited for water distribution applications,” Morrison said.
WEFTEC attendees can experience the KP line, as well as Yeomans 9100 submersible wastewater pumps, Peerless Vertical Turbine bowl, SMART Digital Dosing pumps, Dosing Tank System, Dosing Skid/Rack and the Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ boosting system.
