New app allows users to configure, control and alter pump settings using Apple or Android devices

DALLAS — Grundfos North America has launched the Grundfos GO, a groundbreaking new app that provides intuitive wireless pump control and full access to Grundfos online tools. The GO is a combination of a mobile interface and a free app available in the App Store and Google Play.

“At Grundfos, we understand what convenience and time savings mean for professionals,” said Jes Munk Hansen, president of Grundfos North America. “That is why we created the Grundfos GO.”

To manage pumps by remote control, installers must simply install the app and connect the Grundfos mobile interface to an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Android smartphone. Users are then ready to copy profiles to new pumps, generate installation reports, request status data, adjust pump settings and receive alarms and warnings. The GO also provides a live data feed from the pumps directly onto the screen, including duty points, historical data, power consumption, pump speed and temperature.

Thanks to round-the-clock access to Grundfos online services, users can also find exhaustive product information from Grundfos GO CAPS, a mobile version of the company’s product database. GO CAPS allows users to select replacement pumps right on site.

The Grundfos GO is the market’s most comprehensive platform for mobile pump control. It is is a product of extensive field research that revealed the needs of installers and showed Grundfos how to improve the installation process. Today, managing pumps effectively has never been so simple.
